The Discovery Museum is a non-profit children’s museum that offers interactive exhibits and thematic programs. Discovery Museum exhibits and programs promote hands-on, open-ended discovery in the areas of science, art, culture and technology. Our goal is to help youth expand their horizons and prepare for the future by fostering a passion for exploration and learning.
Discovery Museum - A World of Discovery
Discovery Museum Open at 3rd and F Street regular hours until November 15.
Volunteers are needed November 9th to pack from 11am-5pm, and November 16 to dismantle and finish packing from 11am-5p.
Moving assistance needed November 18-22 - Times to be announced.

Perilous Plunge 2015
February 28th

Parade starts at 10am, Plunge at 10:30, Post Perilous Plunge Noon-3pm with music by Cadillac Ranch- cost $20. [more info]

Tuesday - Saturday 1pm-5pm
and all our regular programs:
Playgroup - Tuesdays 10-11:30
Young Discoverers - Thursdays 10:30-Noon
Dad and My Playgroup - Second Saturday 10-11:30
Kids Alive First - Saturday 5:30-8pm
Young Inventors - Third Saturday 10:30-Noon.

Discovery Museum Supporters,

Many of you have read or seen the news that the Discovery Museum is relocating at the end of November with the intent to reopen Spring 2015. I want to assure you that the Museum is actively looking for a new, permanent location In Eureka which we hope to announce soon. In the meantime, we are going to temporarily run limited programming at the Jefferson Center located at 1000 B Street in Eureka. Admission to this site and programs at the Jefferson Center will be free.

We are also offering Discovery Museum Programming at our Pal Camp site during school holiday breaks December 29-January 2, February 16-20, and April 13-17 for a fee.

Hours of Operation: Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, closed Mondays.

Daily Admission: $4 per person. Children under 2 years old are free. Members receive free admission.
